Job 1: Maintenance Coordinator

Lake Waynoka is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded professional with extensive knowledge of maintenance practices, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead a team in delivering high-quality service to our community.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance & Facility Upkeep

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all community facilities, buildings, and common areas
  • Perform and supervise light electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs
  • Ensure all public spaces are safe, clean, and well-maintained

Grounds & Equipment Maintenance

  • Direct and perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, landscaping, and general outdoor upkeep
  • Operate and maintain large equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and skid steers
  • Oversee dredging operations to maintain waterway functionality and safety

Dock & Water Structure Repairs

  • Supervise and perform repairs on docks and other water-related structures
  • Ensure structural integrity through regular inspections and necessary maintenance

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Maintain and service community vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure operational efficiency

Preventative & Emergency Maintenance

  • Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize equipment failures and costly repairs
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests to ensure minimal downtime

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards
  • Uphold safety protocols and compliance with maintenance best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of general maintenance, equipment operation, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Proven experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle diverse maintenance tasks independently
  • Experience leading a team and managing maintenance operations
  • Class A CDL is preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job 2: Equipment Operator

Looking for person with a CDL Class A Commercial License and equipment operating skills to fill open position.
Other maintenance skills in carpentry/electric/plumbing would be a plus to find the right candidate.
